Wes Broersen is a creative technologist, who graduated in 2021 from the University of the Arts Utrecht. In his studies he specialized himself in the field of Sonic Interaction Design. Wes focuses on designing space through light and sound. With the help of technology, non-physical design forms the space and creates fluidity in otherwise rigid structures.
Wes uses human perception and expectation in his designs.
As can be seen in multiple disciplines that he operates in, like: Theater, Performance Art and Installation based work.
In his career Wes his work is/was exhibited in Theater Carre, Naturalis Museum, during Amsterdam Dance Event, Lowlands, Down The Rabbit Hole (NL), Printworks (ENG) and reviewed by dutch newspapers like “Het Parool”, “Volkskrant” and “NRC”. He worked together with designers like Designwolf, Ruben van Leer, Nick Verstand, Marijn Cinjee, 4DSOUND and wiwo.studio ..
